Things To See & Do
Zagora is the capital village of Pelion, located on a lush green mountain overlooking the Aegean Sea, 45 km east of Volos.
It is home to one of the oldest agricultural cooperatives in Greece, the Agricultural Cooperative of Zagora-Pilio, founded October 27, 1916 and has one of the largest productions of apples in Greece. Due to its geological location and the abundance of water coming from its mountain peaks it is known for it's vast diversity of fruits such as sloes, plums, strawberries, pears, kiwis and much more.
With breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, the sea and sky, Zagora offers various fun and invigorating activities, as well as unique historical locations and monuments.
